Necklace Jewelry
No. I`m joking. I bought her a nice necklace, a tribal motif inscript necklace with little gemmy stone (have no idea about what exactly is). But, fine, it looks great. I want to report a robbery in my store. The robber has taken my very unique necklace and 50 dollars. :)
BTW, happy birthday dodo! Will come back soon, have a nice day my friends!

We've got beautiful jewelry here. Not much, but each one is unique. If you're interested, I can show you.

-- Tibetan Folk Tales
Folk tales are an important component of the long and rich culture of Tibetan ethnic minority. Most of their contents have connection with Tibetan Buddhism, because such religion has become part of the Tibetans' daily life.

I was just wandering if anyone could take a look at my beady bits and give me a bit of feedback, have just started out and could do with some, friends are all very positive but as you all know friends can sometimes be a little biased.
I haven't done any fairs or anything, but just had a leaflet through the door for a local table top sale. Will definately consider it. Would love to do a jewellery party but not quite sure how to go about it any suggestions would be appreciated.

In addition, there is another Thanka art (called as Gaoxiu Thanka), but it is at the brink of being lost. In the whole Tibetan region, such Thankas can only be found in the Kumbum Monastery. As to such Thankas, colorful silk satins are cut into various sceneries and figures of Buddha with wool or cotton filling so that the central part humps up. Then, the surface is embroidered with silk threads. Such Thanka therefore presents the third dimension to viewers.
I bought a beaded kit and have never done this before. I found it hard, but got the hang of it now. What a nightmare to make.
What do you think?

The pigments used in Thanka come from opaque minerals and plant dyes. In addition, some animal glues and cattle bile are added into the pigments according to specific proportions. In this way, the Thanka can last for several thousand years without any fading.
Anyone have an yak bone bracelet or vintage style necklace available?
Its my MIL birthday on Sunday and have been racking my brain for something to get her. I have started to make crystals alongside my cards recently and so have been doing some research that shows that amongst others the birthstone for October seems to be amethyst. Would anyone have a nice bracelet or necklace in featuring amethyst which would be available for sale at all or could you make one? I would rather buy from one of you than search the net and find something a bit naff! I dont want to spend the earth we normally spend about £30 so if this is unrealistic please tell me as I have absolutely no idea! If its really expensive it can wait to be a gift idea for next year when she is 60.
Many thanks I know you will help me out if you can!

Most Thankas are drawn on cloth or paper. Special rite must be held for artistic monks or painters before they began their work on a selected auspicious day. The monk or painter recites sutras while preparing the materials.
